We launched our first buy-to-let mortgages in 1995 and have increasingly focused our business on professional landlords who have proven experience in purchasing and letting residential rental property. This focus is reflected in the excellent performance of the Group’s buy-to-let mortgage assets and our reputation as a leading voice in the sector.
We place our customers at the heart of our business and strive to exceed their expectations. We have serviced over one million customer accounts and this experience has helped us to evolve our customer service experience to the first-rate level it is at today.
In addition, we operate a specialist loan servicing business for third parties through our Moorgate Loan Servicing brand. The division offers a professional, flexible, efficient and cost effective proposition to clients. Our clients include building societies, investment banks, specialist lenders, hedge funds, private equity houses, commercial banks and other financial services companies.
Idem Capital is the Group’s investment division and is engaged in the acquisition of loan portfolios. Paragon has acquired six portfolios to date, either directly or co-invested, with a total investment of £89.5 million. The Group has experience in acquiring a range of asset classes, including first and second mortgages and unsecured assets.
